West Virginia, are you ready?

It's time to go to the polls, and here's what you need to know for Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

Opening time for West Virginia polls is 6:30 a.m., and closing time is 7:30 p.m.

That's if you didn't vote already through early voting. More than 120,000 West Virginians took advantage of early voting despite the suspension of early voting in some counties due to Hurricane Sandy.

Not sure where to vote? The website of West Virginia's Secretary of State can help you find your polling place.

West Virginia has five electoral votes up for grabs in the presidential race. The state has voted Republican in the last three races and Democrat the three before that.

This year West Virginia is widely expected to award its electoral votes to Mitt Romney. See our election map here.
