We've seen multiple generations of a family in one photo before, but never like this!
This photo found on Reddit's r/pics section caught users' attention. It appears to be five generations of one family holding pictures of the previous generation (stick with us here): a great-great-grandmother holding a photo of a great-grandmother holding a photo of grandfather holding up a photo of a young father holding a newborn baby girl.
It's a pretty cool idea, though some Reddit users seemed to focus more on the execution than the sentiment ("You should have done the pictures the other way, with the great grandmother in the smallest picture. That way you can continue with each new generation," pointed out TheZachAttack01).
We're sure this isn't the last time we'll see a unique take on multigenerational family photos, especially since America is witnessing more multigenerational families living under one roof, CNN reported. As of 2010, there are 4.4 million homes consisting of three or more generations, a jump from 3.8 million homes in 2008.
