Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were pretty adamant about keeping the birth of their son a secret, but as it turns out, they couldn't have done it without some help from Reese Witherspoon.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show this morning (Nov. 6), Green revealed that the only reason no one found out about his Fox's delivery was Witherspoon, who gave birth just a few hours before his wife.
"We got really lucky. And I've been wanting to send Reese Witherspoon flowers for, like, a month and a half. Because she actually gave birth, I think the day before us in Santa Monica," the actor, 39, explained, laughing. "We were lucky enough to go in at like 2:30 in the morning to the hospital and nobody knew. We were there for two days ... and we heard Reese was at her place and had a baby, and we got out of the hospital and nobody knew [we were even there]."
Fox gave birth to a baby boy, Noah Shannon, on Sept. 27, the same day Witherspoon welcomed son Tennessee James with husband Jim Toth.
"We got home and thought, 'This is unbelievable,'" Green continued. "Because we weren't expecting to get away with it. So we just figured we would go with it as long as we could."
So, how do the happy parents plan on thanking Witherspoon for unintentionally giving them some privacy during this special time?
"Reese," Green added, "your ice cream cake is on the way!"
