Their brain rotors must not have been spinning.
Two wasted DeLand, Fl. men broke through barriers to photograph a Volusia County Sheriff's Office helicopter that was landing in response to an emergency call on Sunday, according to WKMG.
Jason Mayid, 25 and Justin Sanford, 24, allegedly continued to take pictures with their cell phones despite police orders that they leave.
According to reports obtained by the station, Sanford and Mayid told deputies that they had just left a bar after some drinking, saw the chopper and "thought it would be an awesome picture." They ran through a blocked off parking lot and reportedly interrupted a trauma call.
Police escorted Mayid and Sanford off the premises and charged the with resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication.
But in the end, they did get an awesome pic -- taken by sheriff's deputies at the Volusia County Jail.
