Engagements are exciting on their own. Add the President of the United States to the fray, and the event is even more memorable.

President Barack Obama made a stop at a campaign office in August and learned that two of his staffers, Sara El-Amine and Matthew Saniie, were engaged.

In a clip posted on Saniie's YouTube page on Saturday, El-Amine explained to Obama how the couple met.

"So I'm responsible?," the president joked, calling the two over for a celebratory picture.

After the photo was snapped, Obama pulled Saniie aside and asked him "so how did you do it? ... let's tell the story in front of everybody," drawing applause from the crowd.

The president celebrated his 20th anniversary to First Lady Michelle Obama in October. That occasion famously fell on the night of the first 2012 presidential debate.
