Hillary Clinton Retirement: What's In The Cards For The Secretary Of State?

Hillary Clinton has become one of the most beloved women in politics. Long removed from her days as First Lady, Clinton has reinvented herself many times over, with an eager fan base interested in her every move. Whether as presidential candidate, texting Internet meme or the most-traveled Secretary of State, Clinton has stayed incredibly busy.

But now Hillary Clinton may be doing the impossible: slowing down. Hillary Clinton? Retiring? We know. It's hard to believe. But she's making good on 2011 promises to eventually step down as Secretary of State if President Barack Obama was reelected. Clinton spoke with The New York Times about her retirement plans:

“I am so looking forward to next year,” she said. “I just want to sleep and exercise and travel for fun. And relax. It sounds so ordinary, but I haven’t done it for 20 years. I would like to see whether I can get untired. I work out and stuff, but I don’t do it enough and I don’t do it hard enough because I can’t expend that much energy on it.”

Also high on her list is catching up on her favorite HGTV show "Love It Or List It," where couples get to check out new homes while decorators overhaul their old home. Madam Secretary said she found the show "very calming."

We're not sure what the future holds for Hillary Clinton, what with continued calls for a 2016 presidential run. But we agree the lady is due for a well-deserved break. We asked our readers what they thought Clinton should do during her retirement. Tell us your retirement advice for the Secretary of State in the comments.
