Had she not been discovered and catapulted into stardom in the 1976 remake of "King King," Jessica Lange may well have wound up in an entirely different discipline. And it's certainly not one Jimmy Kimmel was expecting to hear about when she was his guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Lange revealed that while she was a young actress living in Paris, she studied mime. Kimmel absolutely loved the revelation and clearly could have spent the entire interview talking about it. "How many hours a day would you be studying mime in Paris?" he asked, as well as, "Were you trapped in a box?"
Lange shut it down, though, telling him there was nothing like that, and that they needed to get back on track. But we think Jimmy Kimmel had the right idea. Learning more about Jessica Lange studying mime -- and perhaps seeing a demonstration -- would be the perfect use of her time on the show.
After all, we already know how great she is on "American Horror Story: Asylum," Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Catch "Jimmy Kimmel Live" every weeknight at 12 a.m. ET on ABC.
