WASHINGTON -- "Work hard, play harder!" That was the ironic motto that Paula Broadwell, the mistress of former CIA Director David Petraeus, wrote for herself in her West Point yearbook in 1995, according to a photo provided to The Huffington Post.

Chuck Nadd, who tweets at @cnadd, unearthed the photo and posted it online Tuesday night. The yearbook entry for "Paula Dean Kranz" shows the geography major as a senior at the military academy in New York. The photo of Broadwell, who hailed from Bismarck, N.D., shows her activities at West Point included cross country, fellowship of Christian athletes, indoor track and French club.

Broadwell, Petraeus' biographer, is at the center of a widening military scandal that took down Petraeus and threatens the career of Gen. John Allen, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan.
