On "Pawn Stars," a woman brought in an American flag from World War I that had an amazing backstory. According to the woman, her grandfather had cut the flag from a WWI plane.
"The plane was bullet-ridden and it crashed," she explained.
"So let me get this right," Corey Harrison said. "The plane was on fire and your grandfather ran up with a knife and cut the flag out so the American flag wouldn’t burn?"
She also had dog tags to prove the plane came from the same squadron Quinton Roosevelt -- Teddy Roosevelt’s son -- flew in. The flag had been in her family for 95 years.
It was all just too great for Rick, who decided this was definitely an item worth having. He bought it for $6,000.
