Up to this point, Sam's wife Quinn has been seen mostly as a peripheral character who supported him on "NCIS: Los Angeles." Not much was known about her backstory, as she hadn't really been fleshed out. Viewers didn't even really know how Sam and Quinn first met.
So it came as a complete surprise this week when she was suddenly thrust front and center in this Sidorov story. It turns out Quinn was an undercover agent in Sidorov’s crew. And, now, she’s going to have to go back undercover.
"I thought this part was over once we were married," Sam said.
Quinn may have been reluctant, but it quickly became clear that being a mother and wife wasn't enough for her. "Being back in this has made me realize, this is who I am," she said. "I feel alive. I feel alive again."
This development adds a whole new layer of danger and emotional significance for Sam when it comes to this case. Can Quinn get them what they want, and come out of Sidorov's organization alive?
