Ellie Krieger nutritionist and host of The Cooking Channel's "Healthy Appetite" joined me on Mondays With Marlo to give the answer and share tips on how to bring that number down. Since most people consume two days worth of calories -- up to 4,000 or more -- on Thanksgiving, Ellie suggested filling your plate with vegetables, skipping the hors d'oeuvres and refraining from taking seconds. Taking a break can also help you cut down on calorie consumption.
