When nutritionist and host of The Cooking Channel's "Healthy Appetite" Ellie Krieger met with me on Mondays With Marlo, she explained that Omega 3 fatty acids are the best fats for your body. They have healing properties and reduce inflammation in the body, which is why it is so important to incorporate them into your diet. One serving of salmon will give you a day's worth of Omega 3s, but if you don't like salmon, other types of fish, walnuts and flax also pack a wealth of Omega 3s.
