'Top Chef': Padma Lakshmi Admits She Doesn't Watch Bravo Series

Padma Lakshmi Doesn't Watch 'Top Chef'

Padma Lakshmi doesn't watch "Top Chef." Just add her to the growing list of TV stars who don't tune in to their own shows.

"Bobby Flay, I'm sure, is a great guy, but I don't watch 'Iron Chef.' I don’t even watch 'Top Chef,' to be honest," she said.

Lakshmi has been with the Bravo series since 2006 when she joined as host during the second season. As a judge as well, Lakshmi tastes virtually all the food the cheftestants prepare. “My digestive tract is ironclad and can really take a beating," she told "Playboy." "Having been a model for 15 years, I also know a thing or two about how to dress if I’ve put on a few pounds. And I usually gain between 10 and 15 pounds over six weeks each season. Then I spend 12 weeks working it off.”

Lakshmi's not the only star who doesn't watch her own work. Christina Aguilera recently admitted that she doesn't watch her NBC series, "The Voice."

"I don't even watch my own show: I tape it, I'm out," she said.

Both Connie Britton and Adam Levine had admitted to not watching "American Horror Story." Britton starred in the first season of the FX series, Levine currently stars in the second season.

"I'm still too scared to watch it," Levine said. "But I'm gonna try and beat my fear of really creepy, scary things like that by doing it. I think that's a good way to tackle that fear."

"Top Chef" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
