Inflammation is thought to be the root of many diseases, so we asked Ellie Krieger, nutritionist and host of The Cooking Channel's "Healthy Appetite" about foods that have anti-inflammatory properties when she met with me on Mondays With Marlo. The fat in fish is rich with Omega 3s, which helps reduce inflammation. Nuts and seeds are also useful for this same reason. Cumin, coriander and turmerics have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as deep green and orange vegetables.
