Anderson Cooper Ducks Huge Explosion In Gaza (VIDEO)

WATCH: Anderson Cooper Ducks Huge Explosion

A huge explosion caused Anderson Cooper to duck and shout during a live report from Gaza on Sunday night.

Cooper is in the Palestinian territory to report on the ongoing conflict that erupted after Israel killed a top Hamas commander last Wednesday.

The violence has shown no signs of abating, as Israel continues hammering Gaza from the air and Hamas sends rockets back. 87 Palestinians and three Israelis have died, according to the AP.

Cooper was describing the situation in Gaza to Don Lemon when a bomb blast lit up the screen.

"Whoa!" he said, as he dove nearly out of the camera's frame. "Well, that was a rather large explosion," he added as he stood up straight again. "That was probably the largest explosion that we have heard just in the past -- really in the past hour."

Cooper said it wasn't clear what direction the explosion had come from. He then described what it was like to be in Gaza.

"There's a lot of fear," he said. "People are bone-tired. You know, this has been going on for days now. There's this constant sound of the drones. It is a very eerie feeling. It's a very strange feeling."
