'Revolution': Facing Death, Rachel Makes A Desperate Move

Things are building toward a climactic confrontation between Charlie's foursome and the Monroe Republic on "Revolution." Next week marks the show's mid-season finale. After that, it goes on a long hiatus and won't return to NBC's schedule until March 25, 2013.

This week, Rachel made a desperate move when her life hung in the balance. Suspecting deceit, Monroe brought in one of her colleagues to analyze the amplifier she was building that was supposed to enable a pendant to power electronics within a half-mile radius. Only, that's not what Rachel was building at all.

She tried to hint to her colleague to back her that it was an amplifier, but he revealed to Monroe that it was actually a bomb. Betrayed, Monroe declared that he didn't need her anymore. He had the pendant and her colleague, and said he was going to kill both her and her son.

With that, Rachel's desperation reached its peak, and she grabbed something and stabbed her scientific colleague, killing him. "Now you need me!" she declared defiantly.

It's all been building to this: the mid-season finale of "Revolution," next Monday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
