"Today" show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb joined Anderson Cooper on Tuesday to host his daytime talk show "Anderson Live," and things got a tad out of hand.
The "Today" show's dynamic duo were welcomed on Cooper's set with their signature glasses of vino. Cooper said he was not a big drinker but sipped on his beverage throughout the show. When Cooper started to stumble on his words, it became clear that the daytime host is, indeed, a lightweight. "I am drunk," Cooper said. "It's sad but true."
While recalling the experience on the "Today" show, Gifford joked that Cooper is a "cheap date" but insisted that she and Kotb did not make him drink.
"He's a grown man! He makes his own choices," Gifford said.
Kotb and Gifford seemed to enjoy their experience co-hosting with Cooper. The daytime talk show host drank with them and even let them apply a make-up trick to cover up his wrinkles.
