Little Olivia was born in Norway on Dec. 3, 2011. Her father was supposed to attend a Skrillex concert in Oslo on Nov. 22, he but stayed home to be with his pregnant wife instead. Perhaps in karmic recognition of his sacrifice, his daughter is now a huge Skrillex fan. And of course, the hilarious evidence that proves it is on YouTube.
In a video posted nine months ago, baby Olivia is in the car, crying. Much to the amusement of the car's other passengers, her discomfort melts away when the driver puts on some Skrillex.
Similarly, in a video posted Nov. 18, another child, also named Olivia, sits in her high chair looking quite peeved. Her dad plays several types of music (Foster the People, and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's) but nothing seems to amuse her -- until her father plays Skrillex, of course.
Suddenly, Olivia perks up, her head start bobbing and shaking and a grin spreads across her adorable face.
Either there is a large number of baby Skrillex fans named Olivia, or this is the same baby, nine months later.
When it comes to what calms down a baby, however, there's really no accounting for taste. In one video, a crying baby is soothed by Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize." And in another gem, one mom shows how her baby calms down immediately when the famous intro theme music to Star Wars films plays.
Babies are always cute, but babies with good taste in music are just amazing.
