Lauren Graham got to brush off the old comedy chops by showing up a half hour early to NBC for a guest spot on Matthew Perry's new sitcom, "Go On." She played Amy, an old college buddy of both Ryan and Steven. And while he only thought of her as a buddy in the abstract, when she arrived and stayed at his place, he suddenly started seeing things differently.
Ryan is new at being single, and still in mourning. So he didn't expect to have feelings for anyone yet. That's why he gave his blessing for Steven to make a move -- suddenly everyone has feelings for their old college buddy, though she is played by the lovely Lauren Graham so it's understandable.
When Ryan realized he was interested in pursuing her, things escalated into a competition between the two men for the lovely lady's hand. Neither of them bothered to ask her if she was interested. Turns out she's been interested in Ryan for a long time. But she doesn't want to be his first relationship after the death of his wife.
So fans of Lauren Graham on "Go On" need to root for Ryan to start dating other women so she can book her return trip to the show. Keep laughing with "Go On" every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by a more serious Lauren Graham on "Parenthood" at 10 p.m. ET.
