After a two-week break, "Nikita" is back this Friday in its new (old) timeslot of 8 p.m. EST, and to celebrate the super-spy's triumphant return, HuffPost TV has an exclusive sneak peek at this week's episode, titled "The Sword's Edge."
In the clip above, Michael (Shane West) and Nikita (Maggie Q) face a whole new challenge -- their first period of separation since getting engaged. Throw in some tech-geekery from the ever-resourceful Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) and a delicious "Mikita" moment, and you've got the makings of an unmissable episode.
Here's a summary for "The Sword's Edge," written by Albert Kim and directed by Ken Fink (who last teamed up on Season 1's awesome episode "One Way."):
Division discovers one of their rogue agents, Markov (guest star Jonathan Goad), who has been undercover for six years, has been elected President of Uzbekistan and is planning to kill the President of the United States (guest star Michelle Nolden). Ryan (Noah Bean) confesses to the team that Division is on thin ice with the President and she has threatened to wipe them out if the public finds out about the secret agency and rogue agents. Nikita and Michael are furious that Ryan kept this a secret from them and must figure out how to save the President's life without alerting her of the danger.
"Nikita" airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
