"American Horror Story" is coming back for a Season 3, but Ryan Murphy told EW the only lead actor confirmed right now is Jessica Lange.

"We haven’t decided what lead actors are coming back," he said. "I know what [the story is] and I know that there will be clues in the final episode. Last year we didn’t announce what it was about -- we waited til the summer to do it. I think we’ll announce it earlier this year."

Murphy said Lange, who won an Emmy for her work on the first season of "AHS," is very excited about the idea and "possibly where it would film and how we would make it."

In early November, FX announced Lange would return for a third installment of "American Horror Story" and in a statement at the time, Murphy said, "The 'American Horror Story' anthology is a labor of love for all of us and we could not be prouder of the work our brilliant company of actors and everyone on the production team is doing this year."

"American Horror Story: Asylum" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
