When Marvin Miller, the groundbreaking leader of the Major League Baseball Players Association, died last week, it led to renewed calls for his election to the Hall of Fame, an honor that was denied him in five votes over the last decade.

But in consideration of his case for Cooperstown, another name also comes to mind: Scott Boras.
