Rasheed Wallace Ejected From Knicks-Suns Game After Yelling 'Ball Don't Lie' (VIDEO)

Rasheed Ejected After 1:25 Of Playing Time

That didn't take long.

Rasheed Wallace entered the Knicks' matinee matchup against the Suns with 2:39 remaining in the first quarter. One minute and 25 seconds later, Sheed was ejected.

Why?

Wallace was hit with a first technical for a hard foul on Luis Scola. He tried pleading with the referees but to no avail. He kept talking to an official as Goran Dragic was getting set to take the free throw. Once the Suns guard missed it, Wallace did what he usually does when an opposing player misses a free throw for a call he thought was incorrect: Yell "ball don't lie!"

This time, Wallace's signature phrase got him ejected. According to ESPN Stats & Info citing Elias, it's the fastest a player has ever been ejected. Brian Mahoney of the Associates Press noted that it was also his 30th career ejection.

Whoever had 16 games in the Sheed Ejection pool should collect their winnings.
