According to a report from New York Magazine Fox News President Roger Ailes is limiting appearances from Karl Rove and fellow contributor Dick Morris. A network representative confirmed the news to New York Magazine, saying that programming chief Bill Shine said "the election's over."
HuffPost Live host Alyona Minkovski shared the news live on the air with guests Katy Culver, a professor of journalism and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Peter McDermott, creative director with McDermott Media; and Scott Miller a HuffPost community member and writer based in Los Angeles.
Rove made headlines on Election Day when he repeatedly questioned the network's "premature" decision to call the state of Ohio -- and the election -- for President Barack Obama.
HuffPost Live guests speculated that the meltdown may have had something to do with the decision to sideline the conservative commentator.
