Would you like a free doughnut, Chicago? Are you currently thinking to yourself, 'What kind of a #%$!ng question is that?"
Either way, you're in luck: Glazed and Infused has announced that they will be serving up free doughnuts from their newest location -- 939 W. Armitage in Lincoln Park -- beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, in honor of its opening later this month.
The Lincoln Park store is the local company's fourth Chicago location. Patch reports that the growing local chain is largely the brainchild of executive chef Tom Culleeney, a native of the Chicago area who traveled across the nation in his search for the perfect deep-fried morsel of glazed decadence.
The giveaway is limited to one doughnut per customer and, according to Chicagoist, the company will have just 600 on hand for the promotion -- so area residents may want to get an earlier start to their Friday if they'd like to get their mitts on one.
