There are three foods that health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer thinks everyone should add to their diet: salmon, lentils and nuts. When she visited me on Mondays With Marlo, Joy told me that salmon is loaded with heart-healthy Omega 3 fats. Nuts are low-carb and contain a decent amount of fiber and protein, so they won't spike your blood sugar. Lastly, lentils are packaged with a perfect combo of protein, fiber and high-quality carbohydrates. They will keep you energized, and are great for your mood.
