Demi Lovato is so over Emblem 3 on "The X Factor." And she's over being courteous, too. Lovato took the mic away from Simon Cowell while he was trying to introduce his group during this week's performance episode and slammed their act.
Cowell got out one word, "Singing ... " before Lovato finished up for him, adding, " ... A very predictable song. They’re gonna stand on stage."
"You will go to the naughty corner in a moment," Cowell said. He is her boss, so she might want to at least try to be civil.
The boy band's unplugged take on Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" did little to improve her mood. After they finished, Lovato told them, "I feel like it’s a downgraded version of the Jonas Brothers five years ago."
As criticism goes, it wasn't very constructive. Cowell simply called it "incredibly dumb."
Of course, it's in America's hands now. Will Emblem 3 survive the vote? Tune in to "The X Factor" on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox to find out.
