Fête Chicago, Pop-Up Food And Design Market, To Debut Thursday

Fête Pop-Up Market Launches Thursday

Struggling to make progress on your holiday shopping list and hoping to avoid a last-minute trip to a big box store?

You're in luck: Thursday, from 6-10 p.m., Room 1520, 1520 W. Fulton St., will be transformed into Fête Chicago, the inaugural food- and design-centric pop-up market featuring some of the city's dearest artisan goodies.

(Scroll down to check out some of the Fête vendors.)

As GrubStreet Chicago notes, the minds behind Fête Chicago are Heather Sperling, Jessica Herman and Emily Fiffer -- three of the four founders of Dose Market, a separate monthly indoor bazaar.

While advance tickets to Fête are sold out -- one may still pay their admission at the door. A portion of the $5 admission fee benefit Fresh Moves, a non-profit group that, via a converted CTA bus, brings fresh produce to the city's food deserts.
