This was a big year in fast food. It showed that a ridiculous idea like a Doritos taco could actually go on to be extremely successful, and that a chicken chain could start a pretty intense political and social feud. While there are plenty of people who avoid fast food, even hardcore foodies can't ignore that when it comes to the food industry, fast food is a big part of it.
