Gwen Stefani Marie Claire UK: Singer Talks Balancing Fashion Career With Motherhood (PHOTO)

Being a singer, mother AND clothing designer is time-consuming work.

Gwen Stefani is not one to sugar coat. The No Doubt front woman has become known for candid interviews that are always peppered with some pretty great moments of truth.

Just last summer, the 43-year-old dished to Harper's Bazaar that you basically have to "torture yourself" to get her toned body and revealed that it's not uncommon for her to reapply her makeup multiple times a day. Now, the singer admits to Marie Claire UK that she's not exactly hands-on when it comes to her fashion line L.A.M.B.:

“I’ve learned to delegate. It still looks awesome, but did I pick the buttons? No, I didn’t. I missed two fashion weeks because they were when school started. I can’t miss the first week of kindergarten.”

Gwen covers the mag's January 2013 issue wearing a white and black look from her clothing brand. But, hey, we can't blame the mother-of-two for prioritizing little Kingston and Zuma over L.A.M.B. She is balancing a musical comeback and a successful fashion empire with her family life, and there really are only so many hours in a day.

Our suggestion to Gwen? Form a support group with Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes, so you can all vent your frustrations at juggling superstardom, motherhood and a second career as a fashion designer. Or she can keep going about things her way. Judging by how amazing Gwen looks on the cover, it looks like she's doing just fine...
