'Hoarders': Couple Locks The Clean-Up Crew Out Of Their House (VIDEO)

Couple Locks 'Hoarders' Crew Out Of Their House

BG and Lee were featured on the latest episode of "Hoarders," and their problem was threatening to destroy their marriage. They barely communicated unless it was to snap at one another. Lee was controlling, BG was frustrated, and while both were hoarders, they couldn't agree on what was valuable and what was worth getting rid of.

One thing they did agree on was that they didn't want the clean-up crew in their house. So about fifteen minutes into the clean-up effort, they locked the front door of their house. They did more to hinder the process for the entire time the team was there to help, leading to frustration for both the therapist, Dr. Robin Zasio, and the professional organizer, Dorothy Breninger.

While they were ultimately able to get one room cleared out, along with the hallway and stairs, all they really did was move things around. Looking around their cleaner space, BG felt that they looked rather "lonely" and "barren," which is not a good sign.

At one point during the clean-up, Dr. Zasio said, "This is probably the first time I’ve really felt so strongly that all we’re doing is making more room for them to bring in more stuff."

It remains to be seen if that premonition will hold true. The couple took advantage of after-care to work on their marriage first.

"Hoarders" continues on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.
