John Krasinski and Jimmy Kimmel let people in on a little secret during Krasinski's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The two are neighbors and have been involved in a pretty intense prank war. Turns out the prankster Krasinski plays on "The Office" isn't too far from his real-life persona.
Kimmel had several pictures showing some of the pranks they've perpetrated one another over the years. And it was Krasinski who started it all by breaking into Kimmel's house and leaving light-up holiday figurines. Since then, it's become a sort of Christmas tradition between their households.
Kimmel has put a neon insurance sign in Krasinski's yard, and Krasinski left a zombie creature in Kimmel's yard. This year, Kimmel went all out with an enormous inflatable pooping reindeer.
"You’re lucky you have a beautiful wife, Emily, otherwise the pranks would be far, far more extreme. It wouldn’t be fake reindeer crap on the house, you’d be living in a house made of crap," Kimmel said.
Krasinksi promised he's already working on his next prank, and the host can expect it before Christmas!
Tune in to John Krasinksi on the final season of "The Office," Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. EST on ABC.
