Rick Snyder Tweets: Concealed Carry Bill Veto, Governor's Ratings Slip Gets Twitter Talking

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has been in the national spotlight lately, after his recent signing of controversial right-to-work legislation.

But all that fame has come at a price. After he approved the controversial law, which prevents Michigan companies from signing labor agreements requiring mandatory dues payment by employees in union workplaces, a poll by a Democratic firm found his ratings have plummeted.

Now his decision to veto a concealed carry bill that would have permitted people with special training to bring firearms into formerly gun-free zones like churches and school buildings is also getting people talking.

In the aftermath of his right-to-work decision and his gun bill veto following recent Sandy Hook elementary school shooting in Connecticut, it goes without saying that people have strong opinions about the governor, and they aren't afraid to share them on Twitter.
