Remove Champagne Stains Caused By New Year Celebrations

Bring in the new year right.

With New Year’s Eve being only one day away, you may be getting ready to pop bottles of sparkling bubbly. And while a toast to times ahead is a great way to celebrate, it’s also sometimes the culprit of a seriously sticky mess. Luckily, Good Housekeeping found an easy way to remove champagne stains.

First, combine warm water and mild liquid dish soap in a bowl. Then, dip a cloth into the solution and dab the stain. Finally, rinse the spot with warm water.

We’re totally grateful to have a quick solution to this very common New Year’s blunder because let’s face it, no one wants to bring in 2013 with a big ol’ stain!
