Charlie Sheen Drops Anti-Gay Slur At Opening Of New Bar

Charlie Sheen Apologizes For 'Faggot A**holes' Slur At Mexico Event

Charlie Sheen is apologizing after video footage of the "Anger Management" star dropping an anti-gay slur at an event in Mexico surfaced.

In the clip, first obtained by TMZ, the 47-year-old actor proclaims, "How we doing? Lying bunch of faggot a**holes, how we doing?"

Sheen, who reportedly made the declaration at the Dec. 28 opening of his new bar at the El Ganzo Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, later apologized by telling the website he "meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one," and that he "meant to say 'maggot,' but I have a lisp."

Earlier that day, Sheen tweeted a photo of the hotel, calling it the "sickest place in Cabo." Among those in attendance the opening were Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who also performed, according to the New York Post.
