Illinois’ House delegation voted 14-4 Tuesday in favor of the Senate bill that prevented the nation from going over the fiscal cliff. For seven congressmen -- Judy Biggert, Bob Dold, Tim Johnson, Don Manzullo, Bobby Schilling and Joe Walsh -- it was the last vote they cast in the House of Representatives.

Walsh, a contrarian to the end, voted against the bill.

“To pass something at 2 o’clock in the morning, when the senators didn’t even get a real good chance to look at it, we’re tired of that,” the soon-to-be ex-congressman told the Washington Post.
