Sweat is wet -- even when it belongs to Kim Kardashian ex and NBA player Kris Humphries. But one Oklahoma City Thunder fan found that out the hard way.
The woman reached out to touch the Brooklyn Nets forward as he headed to the locker room Wednesday. Her priceless reaction to the sweaty athlete was captured in a clip that's scoring chuckles on the Internet.
As expected, outlets found inspiration in the perspiration.
Yahoo cracked that the video might enable Humphries to be recognized among the ranks of well-known prolific sweat-makers, such as Kevin Garnett, Lamar Odom and Nick Collison. "[Humphries] often seems to develop a slick, shiny coating soon after he sets foot on the court," the outlet noted.Bleacher Report wrote:
"Would you run to touch some random dude after a workout at the gym? No, because that is gross and a little bit creepy. So, why do you have to touch an athlete after they finish up playing a hard-fought basketball game?"
Incidentally, Humphries worked himself into a lather for good reason. He had 11 points and seven rebounds in helping the visiting Nets beat the team with the best record in the NBA. But he sprained an ankle, giving his own team a reason to sweat.
