"Monsters University" may have a better faux commercial than the real ones run by the country's colleges and universities.
In a new video posted to YouTube this month by Pixar, "Monsters University" seeks to inspire potential students who might attend the school and participate in "groundbreaking research and the development of the next generation of leadership."
Of course, the research pertains to how a monster can scare children more effectively.
It's meant to generate buzz for the forth-coming prequel to Pixar's popular film "Monsters, Inc.,"scheduled for release this summer. Pixar also launched a website for "Monsters U" that seems to promote a university rather than a movie and rivals or surpasses actual university websites.
