Does Ryan Gosling forgive his enemies? Not according to "Only God Forgives," Gosling's newest film with "Drive" director Nicolas Winding Refn.
The thriller is the stuff of pure pulp dreams: Gosling stars as an American ex-pat living in Thailand and running a boxing ring as a front for his family's illegal drug business. After his brother is brutally murdered, Gosling's character is tasked with hunting down the perpetrators at the behest of his mother. Bloody carnage follows, or as Gosling says in the new teaser clip for the film, "Want to fight?"
"Only God Forgives" is one of three Gosling films set for release in 2013 (if you can believe it, there wasn't a single Gos sighting at the multiplex in 2012): He also stars in "Gangster Squad" and "The Place Beyond The Pines."
"Only God Forgives" does not yet have a release date, but expect to see it at some point this year.
