When beauty queen Auburn alum Katherine Webb announced her relationship with Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron via Twitter, sparks flew -- mostly between fans of their big-time rival alma maters.
But Webb's sudden fame appears to be drawing attention to her from many different angles. And, yeah, it's kind of getting awkward.
Webb made quite the impression on ESPN sportscaster Brent Musburger during the BCS Championship Game between Alabama and Norte Dame.
But he wasn't the only one who "freaked out" upon seeing Webb, according to Bleacher Report.
Black Sports Online reported that Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett tweeted his phone number at Webb, along with an invitation to meet him for wings after the game, plus some quality time an establishment called King of Diamonds, which appears to be a strip club.
By his own admission, Dockett claimed he screwed up and intended to send the invitation as a DM, which doesn't necessarily make things better.
