Katt Williams Arrested Outside Los Angeles Home After Skipping Court Date

Katt Williams Arrested... Again

It's back to the slammer for renegade comedian Katt Williams.

Williams was arrested outside his Los Angeles home on Tuesday night after failing to appear in court in Sacramento, TMZ reported.

A felony arrest warrant was issued for Williams after the comedian skipped the Monday hearing, stemming from a Nov. 25 incident in which Williams took California police on a wild chase through the streets of Sacramento while riding a three-wheeled motorcycle, according to E! News.

Williams was arrested at his L.A. residence on Tuesday around 8:30 p.m. after LAPD officers spotted him outside the house, according to TMZ. Williams knew he was a wanted man and was fully cooperative. He was being held on $105,000 bail.

The "Scary Movie 5" actor faces charges of evading police and reckless driving, E! News reported, from the November incident. The Los Angeles Times previously reported that Williams had been riding his motorcycle on sidewalks in Sacramento, almost hitting pedestrians. Police tried to get him to stop, but Williams ran multiple red lights and evaded them. The officers decided against chasing him due to public safety concerns.

Earlier that same November day, Williams allegedly assaulted a Target employee. He is due in court in Yolo County on Wednesday for this incident, according to CBS Sacramento.

This is the second arrest for the 39-year-old comedian in recent weeks. On Dec. 28, Williams was arrested for child endangerment. His four children were taken away after cops raided his home and found numerous guns and illegal drugs.

"How do you keep kids safe without guns?" Williams said when asked about the gun-related arrest. "If the police come in and raid my place and break into my gun boxes, you're gonna find guns! I'm not in a gang, what difference does it make?"

Over the past few months, Williams has had numerous run-ins with the law -- including a parking violation, driving infraction, bar fight, hotel disturbance and gun violation.

UPDATE: TMZ reports that Williams was released from jail late Tuesday night. He explained to TMZ that he had to choose one of two courtrooms to be in on Monday and that he chose the court handling his child endangerment incident. But, he still doesn't have custody of the children.
