Equality On Trial, Revamped Prop 8 Trial Tracker Site, Launches

Popular Prop 8 Website Relaunches After Extensive Overhaul

A popular website that meticulously tracked the ongoing debate over Proposition 8, California's voter-approved ban on same-sex marriage, has been relaunched after an extensive overhaul.

Previously known as Prop8TrialTracker.com, Equality on Trial will not only continue to cover Prop 8 but also "all things LGBT when it comes to the courtroom" much as it did in its original incarnation, along with a refreshed design and a handful of exciting new features.

The depth of the site's content had also been increasing over time, and now includes news pertaining to the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), other state-based lawsuits, federal marriage cases, employment discrimination cases and more.

Equality on Trial is a project of the Courage Campaign Institute, which is a part of the Courage Campaign’s online organizing network of more than 750,000 supporters in California and across the country. The editorial staff includes HuffPost Gay Voices bloggers Adam Bink, Scottie Thomaston and Jacob Combs.

A mobile version of the site is set to launch Jan. 14.
