Don't worry, ladies: Marilyn Manson is still up for grabs. Just don't claim he's yours unless it's true.

The shock rocker reportedly is suing Seraphim Ward, the 29-year-old self-proclaimed "rock vixen and independent horror occult filmmaker" who falsely said that Manson asked for her hand in marriage last year.

Ward used to date one of Manson's bandmates, and numerous media outlets picked up the story that the two were engaged, before issuing corrections.

TMZ obtained a letter sent to Ward by Manson's lawyers. In it, the singer demands a public apology for accusing him of being a racist Nazi sympathizer and states that he never had any association with Ward, romantic or otherwise.

If Ward does not acquiesce to Manson's demands, the singer's lawyers say they will sue her "til it hurts," according to TMZ.

Manson previously has been engaged to Rose McGowan and Evan Rachel Wood. He was married to Dita Von Teese for a little over a year.
