Lancome Partners With Alber Elbaz For His First Makeup Collection

Looks like the Lanvin designer took some time off from dressing Emma Stone.

Beauty collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, but we definitely let out a delightful squee when we heard the news about the latest team: Alber Elbaz and Lancôme. Parfait, non?

Alber, of course, will join the French cosmetic brand during his spare time from his post as creative director at equally as French fashion brand Lanvin. Oh, and when he's not dressing Emma Stone. We're pretty excited about this one, since it's the Moroccan-born designer's first venture into the world of makeup. We're already envisioning dewy red lipstick and sleek liquid eyeliner...

Fortunately, this isn't the first A-list fashion figure to partner with a beauty company. Karl Lagerfeld teamed up with Shu Uemura for a punchy holiday collection last year and Lancôme entered the game by teaming up with L'Wren Scott and then Olympia Le-Tan (the latter collection is out on Valentine's Day).

You'll have to wait until June 15 to get your hands on Alber's makeup. Until then, enjoy Lancôme’s oh-so-French video announcement below. Ooh la la!
