On Monday night, "Sex And The City" fans everywhere finally got a peek inside the angst-ridden adolescent years of New York City fashionista and sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw.

As the show's star AnnaSophia Robb pointed out to HuffPost TV, The CW's "Carrie Diaries" is not meant to be an emulation of the HBO series. "It's a different show. Everyone has different expectations, and you can't please everyone," she said.

That being said, viewers (Snooki included) had strong reactions to "The Carrie Diaries" premiere.
