Betty White Style Evolution: Proof This Golden Girl's Still Got It (PHOTOS)

Proof This Golden Girl's Still Got It

Betty White's career has bloomed beautifully since her days as the simple-minded character Rose Nylund on "The Golden Girls." White has paved the way for contemporary "Funny Ladies" Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler with her comedic skills, sweet nature and funny one-liners that span seven decades in the entertainment biz.

Beyond the Illinois native's razor-sharp sense of comedic timing lies her bold fashion sense. While hosting her eponymous daily talk show on NBC back in the '50s, White embodied the feminine style of that era in voluminous skirt dresses, perfectly curled hairstyles and bright red lips. She soon embraced the vibrant color patterns and fabrics of the '80s, and even dyed her hair blonde. Today, the spunky comedian stands out on the red carpet in swingy pantsuits, pearls and pink lipstick. You gotta love her!

In celebration of Betty White's 91st birthday on Thursday (Jan. 17), we're taking a look back at the legendary star's style over the years.

Meanwhile, see what happened when White gave Kim Kardashian a makeover. It's pretty hilarious!
