Jennifer Lawrence has something pressing that she'd like to clarify.
The Oscar-nominated "Silver Linings Playbook" actress appeared on "The Late Show With David Letterman" on Tuesday night, making sure to explain that a particularly unflattering tabloid photo captured recently is, in fact, Photoshopped.
While flying home, Lawrence was reading tabloids -- her "one guilty pleasure" -- when she spotted a photo of herself that she says was doctored. The picture in question finds the actress walking through a wooded area in a baby-blue bikini with her butt cheeks hanging out.
"It is not my butt, and I will not take responsibility for it," Lawrence joked. "It's a 90-year-old butt that's been Photoshopped onto my body and is posing as my butt."
Lawrence proceeded to show two examples of unflattering photos for which she will take responsibility, including one of her without any makeup and another of her arriving at the 2011 AFI Awards.
"That's just me being bloated again," she said, calling the Prabal Gurung AFI dress "hideous."
In her usual charming and self-deprecating way, Lawrence called herself "unphotogenic," saying there are plenty of bad photos of her that she won't hesitate to take credit for -- just not the "90-year-old butt" photo.
