Make These DIY Crepe Paper Fringe String Lights With Leftover Holiday Decor

It'll make a party festive anytime, year-round.

Although most of our holiday decor is packed up for next year, we may have a straggler strand or two of Christmas lights hanging around. And, yes, this classic decor usually makes us think of sleigh bells and Santa Claus, but it can also be a festive addition to a party anytime year-round. Take for example these crepe paper fringe string lights by Studio DIY. This blogger used some leftover colorful streamers to embellish each bulb, creating a fabulous homemade decoration.

We think this would be a great way to deck out a room for a birthday, Mardi Gras party or even for Valentine's Day in shades of pink and red. And we love how the texture of the paper leaves funky shadows on the wall. So think about the color scheme of your next shindig and give these a try. (And just to be safe, don't leave the lights unattended while on.)
