Your to-do list may be increasing as the days get shorter and waking up gets harder, but don’t forget about those healthy New Year’s resolutions you've made.
Around this time last year we brought you a list of five foods you should never eat again, and now with the help of Bonnie Taub-Dix, director and owner of BTD Nutrition Consultants, LLC, we have six more foods to add to that list.
Taub-Dix says the biggest impediment for post 50s trying to maintain a healthy diet is their schedules.
“[Baby boomers] have very busy lives. Some are taking care of teen children, or grandchildren, or parents. Some are still working but wishing they didn’t have to work,” said Taub-Dix. “With all of these aspects in mind, food shopping and cooking is not always number one on the to do list … but it is important to plan ahead.”
