A 'real' housewife of Miami is having a very real problem with her insurance company.
TMZ reports original 'Real Housewife of Miami' and 'Venue' magazine editor Alexia Echevarria is suing her insurance company for $2 million over medical bills she claims were covered but not paid by her policy.
Echevarria's son Frankie Rosello was involved in a near-fatal wreck on a rainy night on the Julia Tuttle Causeway when his car spun out of control, leaving him severely injured.
She says insurance group Garcia Lorenzo & Associates failed to fulfill her policy which entails a "special type of extra coverage" according to TMZ, moneys which says are owed to pay for her son's hospital bills and ongoing rehabilitation.
The lawsuit is just one of many woes Echevarria faces.
In November 2012, Echevarria caught a break when assault charges against her elder child, Peter Rosello, were settled after he allegedly beat up a homeless man, filmed it, and posted the video to YouTube.
In addition, she and her well-connected husband, Herman Echevarria, owe nearly $100,000 in back taxes to the federal government.
